Bearing Seat Disassembly and Assembly System for Support Rollers

Forged work roll and intermediate rolls for Cold Rolling (2)

Working Scope
This specialized equipment is designed for installing and removing bearing seats from support rollers in this project. Its operational range covers the disassembly and assembly requirements for bearing seats of both roughing and finishing mills, including the work rolls of the R roughing mill. All dimensions comply with the process layout specifications of the grinding roll room.

Equipment Structure and Technical Performance
The bearing seat disassembly assembly vehicle is positioned on both sides of the lifting and rotating roller group. During bearing seat operations, the roller is positioned on the roller group, with disassembly/assembly achieved through the combined actions of roller group rotation/lifting and the vehicle’s transverse/push-pull movements.

Disassembly Process
The roller requiring disassembly (with bearing seat) is placed on the central lifting roller group using a crane. The crane stops approximately 100mm above the roller group, allowing the lifting rollers to contact the roller gently for buffering and protection. Both disassembly vehicles move beneath the bearing seat; the central lifting roller group descends until contacting the bearing seat bottom. After the vehicle claws engage the bearing seat, they move along the X-axis to separate the bearing seat from the roller.

Assembly Process
Place the smooth roller on the central lifting roller group. Position the bearing seat on the tables of both disassembly vehicles. Align the centerlines of the roller and bearing seat through Z-axis movement of the lifting roller group and Y-axis adjustment of the upper support plate. Rotate the roller to align keyways, then move both vehicles along the X-axis to assemble the bearing seat onto the roller.

Key Equipment Features

Utilizes central rotating lifting rollers with transverse/push-pull movement capability at both ends

Central position incorporates 4 rotating rollers (2 hydraulic-driven for rotation/inching)

Hydraulic cylinder-driven lifting system for Z-axis alignment

Hydraulic cylinder-driven lateral fine adjustment for Y-axis alignment

Hydraulic cylinder-driven X-axis movement for bearing seat disassembly/assembly

Independent or simultaneous operation of both vehicles

Non-metallic roller surfaces (nylon/polyurethane) prevent roller damage

Rigid guide system on lifting platform facilitates maintenance

Adjustable limit blocks accommodate different bearing seat widths

Hydraulic system includes hammer function for smooth operation

Claw height aligns with bearing seat centerline

Dual operation modes: electric control console and remote control

Interchangeable base plates for different bearing seat configurations
